Nothing Phone Now Lets You Record Phone Calls Discreetly: Know More
Nothing Phone users have got a new way to record calls and it is available for all the Phone models that the brand has launched.

At a time when most Android devices come with an in-built call recording feature, Carl Pei’s tech company, Nothing, has joined the ranks and announced the addition of a new feature, which enables users to record phone calls discreetly.

In an official social media post, Carl Pei made the announcement, stating that the new feature will help users record phone calls on their devices without having to alert other participants on the call. He further added that the feature will be available for all Nothing phone users, including those with Nothing Phone 1, Phone 2, and the newly launched Phone 2a.

According to his post, the call recording feature has been installed through the new recorder widget on Nothing's phones. Earlier, Nothing devices allowed users to avail themselves of the call record feature through the default option.

However, this would alert the other parties on the call that the conversation was being recorded. This time, users can initiate the feature without triggering alerts or notifications to others. “Many have asked for discreet call recording on Nothing phones. This is now possible through our new recorder widget,” he said in a post.

The Nothing CEO also emphasised that the new feature comes in the wake of constant requests from users and aims to address the issue of alerting the other party while also protecting users from undesirable situations.

Pei also responded to a series of queries in the comment section, including one on revamping the notification panel on Nothing devices.
