In a recent interview, Sayli Salunkhe shared about her love for her craft and how she wants to be known for her talent. She revealed turning down the popular reality show Bigg Boss since she was not ready to discuss her personal life on national television.

Sayli Salunkhe has earned a lot of recognition from viewers for her role as Vandana in Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si. Now, she is making headlines for her next endeavour, Pukaar Dil Se Dil Tak. In a recent interview, the actress shared about her love for her craft and how she wants to be known for her talent. She revealed turning down the popular reality show Bigg Boss since she was not ready to discuss her personal life on national television.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Sayli Salunkhe stated that she prefers to be known for her performances rather than her personal life. She said, “I don’t like my personal life being discussed out in the open. I am very true to myself and like to keep my personal and professional lives separate. I was offered Bigg Boss twice, but I turned it down because I am not a Bigg Boss material. I would love to participate in a dance-based or stunt-based reality show.” The actress added that she believed she couldn’t add to the show and would end up crying in the first few episodes. She wondered why she was offered the show in the first place.

On being asked if she was trying to stay away from controversies regarding her personal life, Sayli expressed that her parents trusted her a lot to let her set foot in the industry. She stated that coming from a humble background, she does not want her parents to be judged by others. If they trusted her dreams and backed her in entering the industry, it would be her responsibility to keep their dignity.

Sayli went on to say, “There’s a myth that every actor should talk about their personal lives to remain relevant among fans and gain a fan following. However, I don’t believe in that. I don’t like my personal life being discussed, and I’m very vocal about the same.” She added that she is satisfied with the number of admirers she has and can’t follow the crowd to gain a bigger fan base. Instead of her personal life, she would like the audience to discuss her shows and performances.

Meanwhile, Pukaar Dil Se Dil Tak will air on Sony TV. It boasts an ensemble cast featuring a remarkable group of actors eager to bring their roles to life on screen. Sayli Salunkhe plays the lead, opposite Abhishek Nigam. Anushka Merchande joins Sayli in portraying her sister on the show.
