Noida Student Securing Dream Summer Internship With Google Says It Is A 'Dream Come True'
A third-year computer science student from Noida has secured a software engineering Summer internship role at Google.

Landing a job at Google is a dream for many tech aspirants in India and a girl from Noida has managed to achieve this. A third-year computer science student from Noida has secured the Google software engineering summer internship scheduled for 2025. Isha described seeing her name on the final result as an “incredible” moment and owes her success to her intense preparation and hard work.

“Finally, got an offer from @Google for software engineering intern 2025. Here goes the thread for how it all happened,” Singh said in a thread on X.

Sharing her journey, Isha revealed she went through an intense process of an online assessment and two technical interviews with Google’s recruiters to get the internship. It all started in June when she received an invitation from her college’s Training and Placement (TnP) cell to apply for Google’s summer internship.

After the online assessment, which was held on July 13, Isha Singh explained that only 30 students were shortlisted for the first round of interviews. She said, “The interviews were scheduled for the very next day, leaving us with almost no time to prepare. My first interview was scheduled for 9:30 am and lasted around 50 minutes. During the interview, I was presented with two DSA questions of medium to hard difficulty. I successfully solved both of them.”

After a tough first interview, getting a call for the next round right away increased her anxiety. The second interview, which lasted for 45 minutes, focused on priority queues and included a follow-up question on the same topic. She managed to solve the problem and clearly explained her solutions, including details on time and space complexities. She also shared that both rounds of interviews were eliminatory in nature.

A day later, the college released the names of students selected for Google India. Isha was pleasantly surprised to see her name on the list.

She said, “This is a dream came true. I had never thought about clearing the first interview of my life that too in GOOGLE. ”

After her post went viral, users started congratulating her while many are seeking guidance from her on the selection process. The student actively responded to the questions and provided insights into the challenges she faced. The student’s post on X (formerly Twitter) has gained almost 3,000 likes and 136 comments.

A user, Arun Kumar, commented, “Tell us about your struggle… how you started DSA and the resources and what other skills did you learn and the resources too?”.

“Would be great if you could share a little insight into your DSA prep too. I’ve been consistently doing questions on various coding platforms but still struggling to crack OA’s,” said a user.
