According to a previous Times of India report, Jerry Choudhary’s expedition goes beyond cycling across borders; it is a dedicated mission to promote environmental awareness. His commitment involves actively discouraging the use of plastics, especially by engaging with students in schools and educational institutions across the countries he visits. Currently in Vietnam, the cyclist intends to fly to Taiwan and proceed with his journey through the Philippines and Australia. Despite the associated costs of flights, Jerry Choudhary remains optimistic about securing sponsorship through crowdfunding. Notably, his initial adventure received support from an NGO called Akhil Bhartiya Marwadi Mahela Samelan.

Jerry Choudhary, inspired by Singapore’s proactive strides towards sustainable development, expressed admiration for the city-state’s clean and green environment, complete with dedicated cycling pathways for citizens. His concern for India’s environment took root while pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in literature at Delhi University, a period when Delhi was grappling with severe pollution four years ago. Fuelled by a desire to contribute to a cleaner atmosphere, Jerry embarked on a solo cycling tour.

Jerry Choudhary is actively involved with the Jhunjhunu Cycling Group back in his hometown, where an increasing number of followers, including girls, are joining. He believes that cycling tours are a lifetime learning experience.
