This Mumbai Company Offers SIPs To Fund Dream Destination Weddings
A Mumbai based company has introduced Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs) specifically designed for couples planning destination weddings.

Destination weddings have become rage in India, as it adds a touch of glamour to the sacred marriage ritual. Couples nowadays are choosing picturesque venues, both nationally and abroad, for that perfect Instagram worthy moment. While tying the knot is a big deal, planning a wedding, especially one set in a dreamy location, can be quite overwhelming and the dreamy setting often comes with a hefty price tag. Organising these types of weddings demands not just time and effort but a major financial commitment. Recognising the high costs associated with weddings, a Mumbai based company has introduced Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs) specifically designed for couple planning destination weddings.

With monthly payment options like Rs 11,000, Rs 31,000, and Rs 43,500, the scheme has garnered mixed reactions on social media. Since the post was shared on Instagram, it has garnered over 17,000 likes and tons of comments. Some internet users asked for clarification regarding the instalment period and others are highlighting the challenges of saving money as adults.

Reacting to the post, a user joked, “Ab shaadi se pehle Mahurat aur Market dono track karna padega. (Now, before the wedding, the auspicious timing and the market need to be tracked.).”

Another genuinely asked, “Investment period kitna hai? (What is the investment period?).”

An individual suggested, “Shaadiyo ki Return of Investment (ROI) is less than FDs)

“We adults have a hard time saving money and now weddings are also so expensive. How will one ever be able to save money,” a comment read.

Another jokingly asked, “Ankur Warikoo bhai ki shaadi hai kya ji? (Is it Ankur Warikoo’s wedding?)”

One more shared, “My dumb brain misinterpreted SIP for Sip. I was ready for tea.”

Apart from the innovative wedding plan offered by the Mumbai based company, a doctor couple from Maharashtra took wedding card creativity to a unique level by coming up with stock market themed invitations. Using stock market terms to represent various ceremonies, the couple humourously introduced themselves as Dr Sandesh Medicine Ltd and Dr Divya Anaesthesia Ltd. The invitation was hilariously titled ‘Invitation of Precious Occasion (IPO),’ while they referred to the wedding as a ‘merger’ and called their guests as ‘investors.’

The page sharing the invitation card wrote, “Marriage invitation card of a doctor who seems to be a die-hard fan of stock market, read from the 1st line which is in Hindi.”

Interestingly, the couple even added names of popular investors like Jhunjhunwala, Warren Buffett, and Harshad Mehta.
