UK Couple Discovers Secret Room Behind A Tiny Hole In Their Kitchen

Every person dreams of living in a spacious home. Moving into a new home is quite exciting and stressful, with all the unpacking and settling down. Now, imagine renting a house and getting an extra dose of shock when you realise there is more to it than what meets the eye. In the United Kingdom, a woman and her partner discovered a “secret room” hidden behind a tiny hole which left them creeped out.

The couple shifted into the house and made a video, not to show off their furnishings, but to show everyone a secret room hidden in their house behind a tiny hole. She showed what she and her partner discovered while unpacking. She posted this video on a Facebook group called Things Found In Walls- And Other Hidden Findings which has now been deleted.

The couple found a small hole in the wood at the back of the under-sink cupboard in their kitchen. Upon inspection, the couple discovered a rubble-filled room. Reportedly, the couple rented a flat and found an entire room hidden inside their kitchen cupboard.

As per reports, the hidden room is big enough to be a washroom or a reading nook. It also had a window to let in natural light and ventilation. The couple discovered that the room also housed electricity or a gas meter and exposed wiring. Till now, there is no clarity regarding why the room has been hidden, but the rubble indicates that it has been unused for quite some time.

It is interesting to note that the owner did not share any such detail regarding a hidden room with the couple which further left them intrigued. As the photos of the house went viral on social media, the internet joked about what they would do if they came across such a space. One person wondered if the house was haunted, while another suggested converting the secret room into a study room. A user suggested it is the best spot to chill and take a break from children and husband.

However, this is not the first time that people have come across hidden rooms in their houses. Previously, a couple had found a hidden speakeasy bar under her kitchen which was enough to accommodate a huge group and host a party.
