In the viral video, the traffic home guard is seen dancing while managing the traffic. His unique style of traffic management is being highly praised by the residents of the city. The traffic guard is seen performing his duty while making some unique dance steps in the middle of the road. The man is named Durgesh Vashishtha. He is known for dancing on the road while controlling the traffic of the area.
In an interview with Local 18, Durgesh said that he has received immense support from his superiors for his unique style of managing traffic. He mentioned that both him and his superior have the same objective of raising public awareness in any way possible. Traffic officials sometimes use new and innovative methods to control traffic. These unique ways make traffic control easier for them.
Durgesh said, “I always receive a huge amount of support from my seniors because I always stay focused on my work and duty. Before Novelty Chauraha, I used to perform my duty at Shyamganj in the same unique style. People loved my unique style which made traffic control much easier for me.”
The traffic official explained that he learned the art of performing his duty in this unique style from his mentor. He said, “My mentor always taught me to do any work with full dedication and effort. Keeping his advice in mind I perform my duty with this distinctive style. We also have a YouTube channel. Through that channel, I try to spread awareness about the importance of following traffic rules.”
The people staying around the cross and people passing through the area usually love the official for his distinctive style. He mentioned that rather than shouting at auto and tempo drivers, when he tells something to them in his own way they get entertained and abide by the rules. Several videos of Durgesh have gone viral on various social media platforms.
