It wouldn’t be wrong to say that pizza is without a doubt one of the most-loved fast foods across the globe. Be it any part of the country, there are high chances that this Italian dish is the first thing that comes to mind to satisfy your craving. From classic Margherita to meaty pizzas, there’s a box of happiness for everyone. In the world of foodies, a cheesy, saucy slice of your pizza definitely reigns supreme. But have you ever come across countless pizza-making videos? Well, then we have something for you that might leave you drooling for a pizza or leave you feeling disgusted.
Recently, a clip was shared by an Instagram food page that shows the making of countless pizzas in a factory. Yes, you read that right, pizzas in a factory! The video begins with the preparation of the pizza base by the workers present in the factory to ensure the quality of the foodies’ favourite pizza. The base then undergoes a machine that pierces tiny holes in each one of them so that it absorbs the herbs and sauce. Next, it was the turn of the flavourful pizza sauce that was topped equally above all the pizzas without leaving a place on the base. Then comes the favourite part – addition of yummy-licious cheese.
The grated cheese is sprinkled all over the base, and it is passed through a rope-like platform that has openings to make sure no excess shredded cheese is wasted. This cheese-filled pizza is then baked, and pepperoni slices are placed on top and baked again. After the double-baking method, the mouth-watering pizzas are packed in a box and ready to be shipped.

Although the entire pizza-making process was done keeping in mind the hygiene factor, the clip wasn’t successful in impressing pizza lovers on the micro-blogging site. Since being shared, the video has reached more than 15,000 viewers, evoking various reactions. Some claimed that this hardly looks like pizza, whereas others filled the comments section with the word “trash.”
Expressing disappointment after watching the video, a user commented, “Looks like a biscuit. Please, don’t call this pizza.”
“That’s the saddest dough I’ve ever seen,” another wrote.
Another Instagram user claimed that food items that are produced in mass are always tasteless, saying, “Mass-produced garbage.”
“That’s the saddest pizza I’ve ever seen, thanks for the video to never buy it,” exclaimed an individual.
There were some who lauded the workers, but still they expressed that they would never taste this pizza, a user wrote, “I love CNC and robotic workflows, but this breaks my heart…”
