The use of fillers and botox to look young and vibrant has become quite common. It is well known that overusing these injectables can do more harm than good. While most people stick to subtle botox use, in rare cases, some depend on these cosmetic treatments to alter their looks. An Austrian woman who goes by her social media username “Fetisch Barbie” has confessed to being addicted to botox and fillers. Her excessive botox use has given her unnaturally plump lips and super sharp cheekbones.
It all started when Fetisch Barbie was a teenager and got into the goth subculture. She wore dark make-up and had multiple piercings. She soon got over this phase and discovered botox and fillers that offered an appearance-altering effect without going under the knife. During her appearance on the Hooked On The Look show in February this year, Fetisch Barbieadmitted getting fillers on her cheeks, chin, nose, and lips. Additionally, she got botox all over her face to get a wrinkle-free look.
Despite having lips that are thrice the size of a normal person, Fetisch Barbie said that she wants to “go bigger”. She also admitted her fixation with cosmetic treatments and said, “I am addicted to filler and botox 100%.”
Fetisch Barbie said her plump lips and wrinkleless face are very high maintenance. She has to take fillers every three months to retain her look. Fetisch Barbie revealed that she must have spent about 50,000 pounds (approximately Rs 52 lakh) on her fillers and botox.
In a May 2024 interview with IGV, Fetisch Barbie said that she became interested in appearance-altering beauty treatments when she was 12 years old. She was fascinated with figures like American model and singer Amanda Lepore, and actor Mason Moore for their striking appearance. However, despite these influences, she always had a clear vision of how she wanted to look and now is using minimally invasive treatments to achieve her vision. “I was never aiming to look like anyone else but me, just more plastic,” she told TGV.
Fetisch Barbie, who has a significant presence on OnlyFans, told IGV that even though she looks like a “doll” she wants people to see her as an individual and not an object. She added that her family and friends are concerned about her but they now accept her for who she is.
