Elon Musk has once again expressed his readiness to fight fellow tech billionaire Mark Zuckerberg, saying he is ready to face him “anytime” and “under any rules.”
Musk’s remark came in response to a question from a Fox reporter during his visit to the US Capitol on Wednesday for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s address to Congress.
This comes months after speculation about a potential Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) match between the two tech giants, which gained attention last year when they exchanged playful jabs on social media.

Interest in the bout between the tech behemoths faded during the fall, but Musk reignited the conversation on July 24. In a video shared on X, he declared, “I’ll fight Zuckerberg any place, any time, any rules.”
This isn’t the first time Musk has expressed interest in fighting Zuckerberg. In an October 2023 appearance on the Joe Rogan podcast, he jokingly said, “I challenge him to a duel under any circumstances. I’m willing to fight him in a house, on a mouse, with a louse.”

The feud began in June 2023 when Musk suggested he was “up for a cage match” with Zuckerberg ahead of the launch of Threads, a new social media platform. Zuckerberg quickly responded, asking Musk to “send the location” in an Instagram post.
While Musk has publicly accepted the challenge, Zuckerberg has been training in mixed martial arts with UFC champions, raising questions about how the fight would play out. Despite Musk’s size advantage, experts note that skill can be more important than size in combat sports.
