A US expert who analysed the viral video of an alleged alien encounter outside a Las Vegas residence in Nevada last year confirms that the footage has not been altered and asserts its authenticity.
“Once you see it, you can’t deny it," said veteran crime scene recreation expert Scott Roder, expressing his belief that he perceives the images of not one, but two beings. “There’s no editing. That is an original video," Roder told US broadcaster NewsNation on May 3.
Video Was ‘Authentic

‘It’s there. It’s absolutely there’
“We tried to debunk it to see if there was something that was added to the video. All of our results came back as it was authentic," the expert said. However, proving that the video hasn’t been altered doesn’t confirm the content it depicts. According to Roder, it took numerous views before he noticed something he initially missed: two beings appearing in the video simultaneously.
“We took the vector motion — points in space … and then we attach that to a figure in the background to show that the movement of the shadow reflects the movement of a body that is attached to the head." “We don’t believe it’s a floating head," he added. “We believe it’s attached to a body. And the motion of that head from right to left is consistent with the motion that we see between the slats of the fence." “It’s there. It’s absolutely there," Roder stated.
Non-human beings?
In April last year, a Las Vegas family residing near the sighting area reported that something had crashed in their backyard, prompting them to dial 911. Multiple individuals claimed to have witnessed “non-human beings" accompanying the unidentified object.
These entities were described as towering figures, ranging from 8 to 10 feet in height, with large, shiny eyes and mouths that defied description. “They’re 100% not human," the caller emphasised to the dispatcher. US law enforcement authorities, taking these reports seriously, launched an investigation into the matter. Despite their efforts, the inquiry has yielded inconclusive results thus far. The entire incident remains shrouded in mystery to date.

‘No evidence’
A Pentagon report submitted to US Congress in March revealed that a surge in UFO sightings during the 1960s was likely due to tests of advanced US spy planes and space technology. The report said that there was “no evidence" of US government interactions with aliens. US officials acknowledged that most UFO sightings, or “unidentified anomalous phenomena" (UAP), were ordinary objects. However, they underlined that the report may not dispel popular beliefs about alien visitors.
The Department of Defense delivered to US Congress the initial volume of the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office’s Historical Record (AARO) Report, which reviews the record of the United States government about unidentified anomalous phenomena. AARO reviewed all official US government investigatory efforts since 1945, researched classified and unclassified archives, conducted dozens of interviews, and partnered with Intelligence Community and DOD officials responsible for controlled and special access program oversight.
