The top player in the two-wheeler segment Hero MotorCorp has announced a new motorcycle called Centennial Edition. The model is based on the tech-loaded Karizma XMR, which was showcased this year at the Hero World event.
As per the details shared by the company, the special edition will be released in limited units. It will be available exclusively for employees, associates, business partners, and stakeholders.
The decision to introduce the latest motorcyle has been taken to mark the 101st birth anniversary of the company’s founder, Dr. Brijmohan Lall Munjal. Deliveries are slated to commence in September.
Design
Talking about the design, the Centennial Edition looks like a perfect blend of both naked and faired motorcycles. It has been treated with a semi-fairing on the side, flaunting split seating arrangement, an appealing headlight setup, and a decent-sized dark front visor.
Top Elements
The model also flaunts a red-color scheme on the engine area and the frame as well. The model has received few carbon fiber elements, making it unique in the segment. The brand has included an Akrapovic exhaust, stylish alloy wheels, and a red-finished front fork, crankcase, and rear swingarm.
Engine
At the heart, Centennial Edition uses the same engine as Karizma XMR. It is powered by a 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled unit. The power source is mated to a 6-speed gearbox via a slipper clutch.
