After sucesfully releasing the facelift avatar of Creta, Hyundai is now preparing to release the facelift version of elder sibling Alcazar. Ahead of the official launch, the vehicle has been spied on during the testing phase in South Korea, revealing some of the top updates, and enhancements.

It has been reported that the vehicle might hit the market somewhere in mid-2024. However, the company has not shared any official details about the same as yet.

Top Updates

Despite being spotted fully covered with heavy camouflage, the vehicle somehow revealed updated LED taillamps and a revised bumper, which might attract new buyers this time. If leaked images are to be believed, the model is likely to get the trending LED-connected light bar at the back, which will make the SUV more appealing in the segment.

Exterior Changes

Going by the images, it seems like the upcoming Alacazar might get noticeable cosmetic changes from the outside, featuring the improved front fascia, and updated LED headlight setup with a bolder and better front grill. When it comes to the interior, it will flaunt a similar vibe as the younger sibling’s latest Creta. However, some of the new additions inside the cabin will make it superior compared to an existing model.

Interior

The 7-seater is expected to come with a dual 10.25-inch screen for the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system, which will offer all the wireless car connect technology including Apple, Android, and Auto CarPlay. To make the four-seater more premium in the segment, it will have some robust feature that includes a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, ventilated front seats and advanced ADAS.

Engine and Power

Under the hood, it will be powered by a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. The unit will generate a maximum power of 158 bhp and peak torque of 253 Nm. For customers who are inclined towards diesel, it might get 1.5-litre with a maximum output of 114 bhp and 250 Nm. It will be paired with either manual or automatic transmissions.
