The micro SUV Punch has been one of the top-selling products from Tata’s fleet in India. The model now has received impressive sales figures in June, retailing over 18,238 units.
As per the details shared by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), the company retailed an overall 3.7 lakh cars last month. Out of which, Punch managed to secure the top position with good numbers.
Maruti Suzuki Swift Sales
The report says the Punch somehow left behind the Maruti Suzuki Swift in terms of sales. It has achieved only 16,422 units. The number has dropped by 16% M-o-M in June compared to last year.
Amid this, Hyundai Creta and Maruti Ertiga also remained in the hot-selling category. The former has crossed the 16,290 units sales mark, while the latter recorded 15,902 units.
Top Performer by Maruti Suzuki
The brand continues to rule the market in multiple segments. It has sold 14,895 units of the Baleno, and more than 13,790 units of WagonR, followed by Dzire with 13,421 units and Brezza’s sales stood at 13,172 units only.
Tata Punch Price Range
Meanwhile, the five-seater Punch comes at the starting price of Rs 6.12, lakh (ex-showroom). The model has been offered in 25 variants, featuring a robust 1199.0 cc engine, paired with both Manual and Automatic gearboxes.
Mileage
It has been claimed by Tata that the vehicle is capable of providing an impressive fuel efficiency between 18.8 kmp; to 20.9 kmpl, depending on the driving and terrain.
