Following a seven-fold surge in sales during its second year, Indri claims to have secured 30% of India's whisky market demand.

Piccadily Distilleries announced the sale of over 100,000 cases within just two years since its debut. According to the company, this achievement solidifies its position as the quickest-expanding single malt whisky brand in history.

In its press release, the company stated that no other single malt whisky, whether from Scotland, Japan, Taiwan, or any other part of the world, has ever managed to surpass the 100,000 cases milestone within two years of its introduction.

Introduced in November 2021, Indri stands as one of India’s single malt whisky labels, thriving in a nation where whisky enjoys greater popularity than beer.

Amrut Fusion and Rampur are also notable contenders within this realm.

Following a seven-fold surge in sales during its second year, Indri claims to have secured 30% of India’s whisky market demand. With aspirations to rank among the top five best-selling whisky brands globally, the company aims for further expansion.
