Vikraman allegedly took Rs 13.7 lakh from her and only returned Rs 12 lakh. She added that he has also cheated her by promising to marry but refusing later.

Vadapalani All Women Police Station in Chennai has registered a case under 13 sections against Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) spokesperson R Vikraman. Besides being a popular name in politics, the Tamil actor and director, Vikraman became famous after appearing in the Bigg Boss Tamil Season 6.

In the recently registered case, the complaint has been registered by a woman from Chennai who is an advocate in the state high court. Reportedly, the complaint has been registered underlining 13 different sections including sexual assault and fraud. The complainant, Kiruba Munusamy, who filed the complaint in the Chennai Police Commissioner’s office last July, has claimed that she and Vikraman had been close to each other for the past two and a half years. She added that when she asked Vikraman that she was in love with him and asked him to get married legally, Vikraman refused.

In the filed complaint, Kiruba also stated that Vikraman took Rs 13.7 lakh from her by saying that he loved her. However, later he only returned Rs 12 lakh. He has not only allegedly taken the money from her but has also cheated by promising to marry but refusing later. Hence, Krupa decided to take legal action against Vikraman.

Meanwhile, when Kiruba first approached the Vadapalani Women’s Police, they kept the complaint pending without registering any case. As a result, she filed a case in the lawyer’s court and following the court’s order, the police station has now registered a case against Vikraman under the 13 sections. As per the reports, the 13 sections include crucial charges such as Violence against Women, Sexual Violence and Prevention of Violence against the Underprivileged Act.

Following the complaint, Vikraman completely denied the charges. He said that he and Kiruba used to be good friends, and has also denied any close or intimate relationship with her. Further, Vikraman said that he did not have to take any money from her and said that her complaint was false and that he would meet this legally.
