Candidates who participated in the exam held on March 18 can access the answer keys for General Studies Paper 1 and General Studies Paper 2 at apsc.nic.in

The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has unveiled the provisional answer key for the Combined Competitive Exam (CCE) Prelims 2023. Candidates who participated in the examination can access and download the answer keys for General Studies Paper 1 and General Studies Paper 2 from the official website at apsc.nic.in.

The preliminary exam was conducted on March 18, 2024 in two shifts. GS Paper 1 was held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, followed by Paper 2 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Subsequently, the Commission has made available the provisional answer key on its official website. Applicants can raise objections to the preliminary answer keys by submitting supporting documents by March 23, 2024.

According to the Commission, “No claim for correction of Answer Key will be entertained if the same is not supported by specific documents. Reference to any website or any unspecified documents will not be entertained. No petition through email or hard copy regarding claim and objection against answer key will be considered.”

Step 1: Open the official website at apsc.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the CCE Prelims Answer Key 2023 link on the homepage.

Step 3: The answer keys will be displayed on the new screen.

Step 4: Check accordingly and download the tentative answer key. Don't forget to take a printout for future reference.

APSC CCE Prelims 2023 answer key: Selection Process

The Main written examination encompasses 6 papers. Paper 1 focuses on Essay writing and carries a weightage of 250 marks, with duration of 3 hours allotted for completion. Papers 2 to 6 are dedicated to General Studies, each carrying 250 marks, and each lasting for 3 hours.

Following successful completion of the Written Examination, candidates will proceed to the Interview stage, which holds a weightage of 275 marks.

The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 235 positions within Assam Civil Services, Assam Police Services, and various other departments of the APSC. Tentatively, the Main examination is slated to take place in June or July of 2024.

The APSC chooses qualified candidates with the necessary education, skills, and motivation to serve the people of Assam in government positions through a transparent, fair, scientific, and timely recruitment process.
