New Delhi: Come April next year, Indian football fans have a golden opportunity to catch a glimpse of the world’s most coveted football trophy – The World Cup.
The two member delegation, who are in Bahamas, attending the FIFA Congress comprising of All India Football Federation Vice-President Subrata Dutta and treasurer Hardev Jedeja have stated that the World Cup shall come to India next year.
Even prior to the 2006 edition, the trophy had come to India. The World Cup shall travel across 54 African nations before making its way into 32 other nations.
The trophy is expected to be in the nation for a couple of days, with a day each in Delhi and Kolkata, for the fans.
