New Delhi: The Rossoneri know that it will be very difficult to keep the English player, but are doing all they can during these hours.
AC Milan General Manager Adriano Galliani spoke about David Beckham's situation which he hopes will end with the player staying at the club.
However, the contract which ties him to Los Angeles Galaxy seems impossible to break, therefore Galliani is not very optimistic.
"We shall do everything to keep Beckham in Milan, but unfortunately our hands are tied," explained the Rossoneri's manager to Sky.
"I just hope that Galaxy change their mind and decide to let him stay here. Our hope is to keep him here, but it doesn't depend on us unfortunately.
"I don't know how many possibilities there are. Reading the contract they're equal to zero, but the contracts can also change.
"With the sentiment (heart) we can be optimistic, but with the reason (head) no, unless Galaxy change their mind. I'm not a fortune-teller, we shall see."
Since joining Milan, Beckham has produced some excellent performances and even scored two goals which have made him a fans' favourite.
