Steps

Open the Settings menu. It's the gear icon typically found on the home screen or in the app drawer. Alternatively, swipe-down the notification panel and tap on the tiny gear icon.

Navigate to the System settings. Scroll down to the bottom and tap on System.

Tap on About [device],About phone or System update. It will be located at the bottom of the list. Potentially you have to expand Advanced to see the Button.

Move to the Android security patch level title. Under the title, you can see your devices patch level. Also confirm you are up to date to prevent malware, hacking and other similar threats. That's it!
