How to Make Chocolate Lip Balm
How to Make Chocolate Lip Balm
Make a yummy and delicious lip balm that soothes dry, chapped lips. These are great for party gifts, thank you presents, or for your own self indulgence.
Ingredients

Using Cocoa Powder

Melt the butter in the microwave container for about 25 seconds, or just until it turns into a liquid.

Remove carefully and place aside.

Microwave the cocoa powder in another container for 20 seconds, or until it melts.

Mix the two well. Smell the mixture and add more ingredients as needed (more cocoa if too buttery, more butter if too cocoa-y).

Do not mix for too long because the runnier the mixture, the more time it takes to harden.

Pour the mixture into the lip balm pot. If there is too much, you could either eat it or put it into another container.

Place in the fridge to set. Once solid, take out and apply!

Using Chocolate Chips

Gather these ingredients 1 tsp. cocoa butter Chocolate chips Vitamin E capsules (found at pharmacies/drug stores)

Put all ingredients into a saucepan.

Heat on low heat.

Stir with the wooden spoon until melted.

Turn the stove off, remove from heat and spoon mixture into (a) plastic pot(s). Leave them in the fridge (not freezer) until solid.

Remove from fridge and apply.

What's your reaction?
