VIJAYAWADA: The Task Force police seized two two-headed snakes on Sunday after conducting a raid. Six persons were arrested in this connection. The arrested included Sheik Chand Pasha of Kondapalli, Saki Srinivasa Rao of Ibrahimpatnam, Vatsa Srinivas of One Town and Stephen Raju.According to the Task Force, the quartet approached Dharawat Veeranna and Bhanawat Kishen of Bethampudi village in Khammam district for the rare snake species. They agreed to pay Rs 50,000 per each two-headed snake. The two villagers brought the two snakes to Rajiv Gandhi Park to give the species to the quartet. The police arrested them while they were planning to sell the snakes for Rs 15 lakh. Task Force inspector K Govindaraju made the arrests.
