BHUBANESWAR: Even as the Excise Department has launched massive raids across the State to arrest people involved in manufacturing of illicit liquor in the wake of the recent tragedy, city police seized 21 cartons of Aska-40, a country liquor, from a car on Monday night and arrested one person. An Ambassador car, carrying Aska-40, was intercepted by patrolling police at Raghunathpur bridge under Infocity police limits. On search of the car, which was going towards Baranga, police found 21 cartons packed with Aska-40 pouches in its dickey. Police seized the car and arrested the driver, identified as Dipak Rath, a resident of Khairapda village under Baranga police station limits.
