BANGALORE: In separate incidents, three persons were robbed of their valuables by unidentified miscreants on Friday night.In the first incident a 65-year-old man was robbed of Rs. 40,000 and a mobile phone. The incident was reported near Shell petrol bunk near Yashwantapur railway station on Friday night.Chandrashekhar, resident of Malleshwara 13th cross, is the victim. The police said that the victim had gone to his native place, Harihara and returned by train on Friday night. Later, when he was waiting for a bus near the petrol bunk, a car driver approached him and offered him a lift to Malleswaram. Trusting him, Chandrashekhar accepted the offer. As soon as he got into the car the driver along with two other miscreants thrashed him and snatched his cash and mobile.  Later, they pushed him out of the car and fled the scene, the police said.  In the second incident reported in Hennur police station limits, a security guard was stabbed and robbed of his mobile phone by three bike borne miscreants.  Pankaj Kumar, a resident of Banasawadi, is the victim. Kumar, after finishing work, was going near Hennur BMTC depot when three miscreants on a bike stabbed him before escaping with his phone, the police said.In the third case, Vinod (22), a resident of Hennur Ring Road, was stabbed and robbed of his mobile phone by three bike-borne miscreants on Hennur Main Road. The victim was peddling towards home after work when three unidentified miscreants stopped him and demanded for his mobile phone.  As he refused, the robbers stabbed him and snatched his phone and fled the scene. The victim has been hospitalised, the police said.
