Seven persons were killed and 12 others injured in two separate road accidents in Uttar Pradesh, police said on Thursday.
Three persons were today killed and 10 others injured, when their multi-utility vehicle, in which they were going to Haridwar, collided with a truck in Bijnore district, they said.
The injured were admitted to the district hospital, police said, adding that the truck driver manage to escape after the accident.
In another road accident, four persons were killed and two others injured in Auraiya district on Wednesday.
The accident took place when the SUV, in which they were travelling to Dibiyapur, collied with a culvert in Phaphoond police station area.
The deceased have been identified as Sachyendra Prakash, Neeraj Saxena, Bhupendra Singh and Manish Kumar, police said.
The injured have been rushed to Kanpur medical college hospital for treatment, police added.
