Congress Councillors to stage protest today

BANGALORE: Congress councillors from Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) will stage protest on Wednesday on Palike premises, demanding to handover the multi-crore scam investigation to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).Speaking to Express, Opposition party leader Udayshankar said that not just Congress councillors, MLAs including Ramalinga Reddy, Narendra Babu and former Palike mayors including P R Ramesh and  Ramachandrappa will join the protest. “Later, we will submit a memorandum to the Mayor demanding to handover the probe to CBI,” he said.
