TIRUMALA: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is leaving no stone unturned to ensure hassle-free darshan for devotees on the New Year Day, Vaikuntha Ekadasi and Dwadasi, TTD chairman K Bapiraju has said.Addressing mediapersons on Friday, he said arrangements were being made for the festivals to see that pilgrims visiting Tirumala do not face any inconvenience.He exhorted the TTD employees to gear up to cope with the pilgrim rush.TTD joint executive officer KS Srinivasa Raju said Rs 300 and Rs 100 tickets would be issued to pilgrims through edarshan counters located outside Tirupati from December 24. The TTD will not sell Rs 50 darshan tickets on the festival days. "We have decided to allow a restricted number of 2,000 physically challenged pilgrims for darshan on each day at 2 pm and 5 pm," the TTD JEO said.
