Hoax bomb scare at Supermarket

HYDERABAD: Tension prevailed among customers and staff after a call made by an unidentified person about a suspected bomb planted at Big Bazar on Saturday. However, the call turned out to be a hoax.The call sent police into tizzy a couple of hours. Tension gripped among customers at the Big Bazar complex in Ameerpet after the news spread out. Punjgutta police rushed to the spot after they received information that an unidentified person had made a call telling a bomb was planted at the Big Bazar and it would blast any time.Sniffer dogs and bomb squad teams swung into action and scanned throughout the huge complex for a couple of hours but found no explosives.
