These devotees perform different and unique activities at the temple to showcase their devotion to the gods. Now, a devotee has been going viral for adopting unique ways to show devotion to god at the Shri Aranya Siddheshwar.

Shri Aranya Siddheshwar Temple is an ancient temple located in the Athani city of Belagavi district of Karnataka. It has been found that there is a devotee named Mahadeva Siddappa Dorodundi of Hallur village, Bagalkot district in Karnataka, who has found a unique way to show his devotion. As per reports, the devotee has attached a 2-foot, 2-inch-long wooden log to his leg for about three years. This has been done by him to show his devotion, and he will be travelling to the temple from his village by walking on the log. Shri Aranya Siddheshwar is around 28 km away from Yalparatti village in Raibag taluk, from where he will be starting his journey. Reportedly, the devotee has been following this tradition for many years. Usually, it takes him 9 hours to travel to the temple from the starting point.

The devotee has attracted a lot of attention from the locals and media.
