New Delhi: Shanti Devi, a 60-year-old resident of Karol Bagh, is one of the "living victims" of the blast in Ghaffar Market as she lost four of her close relatives in the incident while seven others lay in hospital with grievous injuries.
As doctors say the chances of survival of four of the seven injured are "very slim", an inconsolable Shanti Devi recounted her ordeal, saying she and her husband Yashpal Singh were inside house when the blast took place.
The couple escaped unhurt but four of her close relatives were dead and seven others injured.
As soon as blast took place, the injured were rushed to Jassa Ram Hospital where four of her family members died, while four were being operated upon for critical injuries.
One of the family member was rushed to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, while two were being treated at Sucheta Kriplani Hospital.
