Kunal Khemu is one happy actor now as his acting has been appreciated in 'Golmaal 3. He says, “I generally don’t select films keeping the business aspect of it in mind. I do not think whether the film will do well or not at the box-office. If I like my role and the script of a film, I take it up.” He confesses, “I had kind of been away from the limelight for a year and after the release of Golmaal 3 people saw me on the big screen again and realized that I still exist. Also I have a few offers coming my way.”
What kept him away from films for a year? Kunal explains, “After the release of my movie 99 there were a couple of scripts that I was working on. But the dip in the industry due to recession affected the film industry and even me. It was a tough time and really irritating. Nobody likes to wait for so long. But I chose to keep my cool and didn't take up anything and everything that came my way.”
Kunal says that being the youngest member of the Golmaal star cast, he was ragged all the time, during the making of the film. And he confesses that it did bother him. He says, “I am the youngest in the team and hence was the easiest target. All the other stars are much more experienced than I am and are also older to me so I couldn’t tell anybody anything. Initially, I was like Yeh kyun ho raha hai? Then I was like bas stop karo yaar bahut ho gaya and after a while, I just got used to it and to an extent even enjoyed it.”
