Now, more airports to get 'tourist visa on arrival' facility

Tourist visa on arrival facility has been extended to four more airports in the country - Thiruvananthapuram, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kochi.

The facility of visa on arrival can be availed by citizens of 11 countries in these airports in addition to four already designated international airports - Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata.

Citizens of Japan, Singapore, Finland, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Philippines, Myanmar and Indonesia can avail the facility in the eight airports, a Home Ministry official said.

The visa on arrival facility would also be extended to Goa airport as soon as infrastructure and manpower requirements are in place, the official said.
