London: With Tom Cruise, Halle Berry, Will Smith, Beyonce and other such A-list stars present, TV titan Oprah Winfrey got a "joyous" farewell.

The chat show queen was "beyond joyous" after the stars turned up to the Chicago recording of her final three shows. The United Centre in Chicago was also packed with over 20,000 people who gathered to watch the end of a chat show era, reports thesun.co.uk.

Winfrey was a little emotional and thanked her fans for their love.

"I've never experienced anything like this and I say once again thank you for taking me to a place that's beyond joyous. I'm going to have to process it and look at it on tape to see what actually happened here. It feels like the rapture, so thank you all for that!" she said.

Cruise was the first guest, Winfrey recalled the movie star's Hollywood heyday. "You looked like you were 10 when you were on my show in 1988," quipped Winfrey.

Madonna, who too was present, was full of praise for Winfrey.

"It's no secret that millions of people are inspired by Oprah. I am one of them. She's a self-made woman who's been at the top of her game for over 25 years and she is still kicking ass," said Madonna.

Singer Beyonce Knowles made a grand entrance in a tuxedo and belted out the song "Run The World".

Legend Stevie Wonder also provided some music, pairing up with singer-actor Jamie Foxx, at the shoot. The piano great, who admitted to being "a little nervous", also performed a tune he had written especially for the talk show queen.

TV mogul Simon Cowell hailed impact of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" on the music business, and joked: "I can also say that you are a very good kisser."

The final three shows will aired in the US next week.
