New Delhi In the Pramod Mahajan murder trail case Gopinath Munde's wife and slain BJP leader Pramod Mahajan's sister on Friday lashed out and accused Pravin Mahajan in the Sessions Court calling him a ‘liar’.
Pradnya said, “Pramod Mahajan was like a father figure to the family and Pravin was actually living off his money. The court will continue to hear the case on the 8th of May when Pramod Mahajan's servant Mahesh Wankhede will be cross- examined. “
In her diatribe, Pradnya did not spare even Praveen's wife Sarangi and their children, and said they had survived on her elder brother Pramod's money and yet had killed him.
When Pramod was just 21 years old, he had taken up the responsibility of the family and had raised us with love and care, Pradnya told the court. Pramod had showered more love upon us than our father, she told the court.
She did not even spare the media, saying the media's portrayal of Praveen had made him into a hero from a villain. Pradnya continued with her diatribe for 15 minutes.
Earlier, while responding to queries raised by defence advocate Harshad Ponda, Pradnya had brushed off most questions by saying, ''Mala mahit nahi (I do not know)''. The trial, meanwhile, has been adjourned till May 8.
