Ratham leaves for Nepal

TIRUPATI: TTD Executive Officer, L V Subramanyam flagged off the Srivari Ratham in Kapileshwara Swamy temple, here on Monday evening.The Ratham (chariot) is set to leave for Nepal to take part in Srinivasa Kalyanam slated to take place on February 25 in Khatmandu. This is the first time, TTD is set to organise Srinivasa Kalyanam in Nepal. The Kalyanam will take place in evening. The Srivari Ratham will reach Khatmandu by road on February 24. The EO released book ‘Kapilateertham-Kamaneeya Kshetram’ penned by Julakanti Balasubramanyam during ongoing Brahmotsavams of Kapileshwara Swamy temple on Monday.
