New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan’s stint as Kaun Banega Crorepati's quiz master is making more news than any of his films till date. The actor is sticking to his light-hearted non-serious approach on the show, despite being slammed for falling TRP’s.
On one of the episodes, a contestant from Assam asked SRK to dance with him on the show. Khan obliged and did some Bihu (Assamese folk dance) steps for him, leaving the viewers in awe.
"I was really impressed by Shah Rukh`s attitude. He was very curious to know about my place. When I said I was from India`s easternmost state, bordering Arunachal Pradesh, he wanted to know more about the place,” added Gogoi, who won Rs 3.20 lakh on the show.
Why on earth did Bollywood’s biggest star learn Assamese folk dance? We don't know. Perhaps King Khan has decided to go to any length to make the contestants feel ‘at home’.
"I just asked him if he would like to do a few steps of our traditional dance and he readily agreed," contestant Mridul Gogoi from belongs to Assam`s Dibrugarh district was quoted by a website.
