BANGALORE: Three persons, including a child, died in three separate accidents in the city since Friday night.A tempo ran over a three and- a-half-year-old child in MICO Layout traffic police station limits on Saturday evening.The child has been identified as Shabrez Pasha, son of Sadiq Pasha, a resident of Tilanaknagar.Sadiq was walking near the 30th A Cross of Tilakanagar when the speeding vehicle hit him to death.The driver of the vehicle fled from the scene leaving the vehicle behind.MICO Layout Traffic police are investigating the case and police said that they will arrest the accused soon.In another incident, a 35-year-old pedestrian was killed after a speeding car hit him while he was crossing the road in Byatarayanapura traffic police station limits on Friday night.The deceased has been identified as Venkatesh, a resident of Kengeri.He was crossing the road Kengeri Check Post at Mysore Road when he was by the car.Police constable Jagadish Babu, who was on duty took down the vehicle number as the vehicle fled the scene.Byatarayanapura traffic police are investigating the case.In yet another case,a 38-year-old person was killed and another injured after their bike was knocked down by a BMTC Pushpak bus on Friday night.The deceased has been identified as Hanume Gowda who was riding pillion on the motorbike and was run over by the bus.The incident took place when the bus driver suddenly started moving the vehicle backward and knocked down the bike coming from behind.The incident took place near Gundappa Junction on Boobsandra- Nagashetty Halli Main Road.The pillion rider Santosh sustained injuries and was admitted to the hospital.R T Nagar traffic police are investigating the case.
