Lucknow: While the Narendra Modi governement woos former soldiers of the Indian army by implementing the One Rank One Pension(OROP), Mulayam Singh Yadav on Sunday extracted a promise from his son and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav to build a Sainik (soldier) school in Mainpuri, which is Mulayam's traditional bastion.
"We had already given the Sainik school, I wanted to inaugurate it but it's not complete. SO the CM should tell what time will he complete the School" said Mulayam on a podium which he shared with his son.
In the father-son dialogue on the stage, Mulayam asked his son to complete building the school within 8 months and not one year duration that Akhilesh had promised before. The UP CM sounding like an obedient son agreed to his father and said " It will be done in 8 months".
