Rakhi Sawant’s mother Jaya Sawant is currently undergoing cancer treatment in a Mumbai hospital. The Bigg Boss 14 finalist was seen talking about the same on the show. Rakhi chose to walk out of the game taking the amount of Rs 14 lakh. She had explained this decision saying that she wanted to take care of the expenses of her mother’s treatment with the money. Now, Salman Khan’s brother and actor, Sohail Khan has stepped up to extend his support.
In an Instagram video, Sohail is seen talking about lending a helping hand to Rakhi for her mother’s treatment.
He said that he has never personally known her mother but has asked to call him directly if they need anything at all from him. He also called Rakhi a ‘strong person’ adding that her mother must be stronger. The 50-year-old actor further encouraged her, saying that a daughter like her can take care of her mother and that things will fall into place.

He once again reminded Rakhi to call him directly for any sort of help. Further, he extended his wishes to her mother for a speedy recovery. Earlier, Rakhi had thanked Salman in a video, telling fans that he has been in touch with hospital authorities.

Meanwhile, in an interview with ETimes TV, Rakhi’s mother said that she was sad that her daughter did not win Bigg Boss 14. She was quoted saying, “Yes, I watched as much as I could. I was very happy that she was participating but I was very sad that she didn’t win.” She, however, praised her daughter, saying, “My daughter Rakhi is looking after me very well. Ditto for my daughter-in-law.” She also expressed that Salman has been supporting them morally and financially.
