TV’s two of the most loved characters Taarak Mehta and Jethalal Gada from the iconic Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah may seem to have some sort of rift off-screen. Actors Dilip Joshi and Shailesh Lodha who play on-screen best friends or as they call it ‘param mitra’ on the Sony SAB channel may be undergoing some sort of disagreement on the sets, according to reports.
A recent report by Koimoi mentioned how the two actors barely speak to each other on the sets of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. However, considering their professionalism they do not let that reflect on their work and shoot their scenes as the two characters always do. As soon as their scenes are shot, the two actors head back to their vanity vans and do not indulge in any off-screen conversation, mentions the report.
Quoting a source close to this development, Koimoi reported that both Shailesh Lodha as well as Dilip Joshi are highly professional. Their way of working is so sublime that they will never let the onlookers believe that they do not converse in real life. But the situation is quite opposite in real life. They do not even smile at each other anymore and it is just purely work.
The show has been running for nearly thirteen years now and has gained a huge popularity among viewers. However, over the years some of the iconic actors have left the show that has left audiences reminiscing the initial years of the Indian sitcom.
One of the most loved characters of the show, Daya Gada also known as Jethalal Gada’s wife has been out of the show for a long while after actress Disha Vakani, who played the character took maternity leave. Disha left the show in 2018 citing her personal reasons and since then Jethalal was seen without his garba loving wife.
The show completed its 3,000 episodes last year.
