Ekta Kapoor has shared a hilarious meme comparing Avengers: Infinity War with a crossover ‘Maha Episode’ of her daily soaps Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii. The meme quotes Marvel calling Infinity War the “most ambitious crossover event in history”, while a K-serial fan compares it with the poster of a Maha Episode bringing stars of the two popular daily soaps together. The poster features Smriti Irani and Sakshi Tanwar, stars of Kyunki and Kahaani, respectively.
Ekta shared the meme and said “FYI” alongwith a bunch of laughing emojis. She found support from many TV actresses, including Jennifer Winget, Anita Hassanandani and Pooja Gor. Smriti Irani reminisced those days with a pun, “kya din the .. whattay ‘marvel’ous time.”
Coincidentally, Ekta had shared a throwback photo with Smriti Irani and Sakshi Tanwar four days ago to wish the actress-turned politician on her birthday.
Smriti Iraniplayed the role of Tulsi Virani in the long-running soap Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi produced by Ekta Kapoor under Balaji Telefilms banner. Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii also ran for eight years with Sakshi Tanwar in the lead. Both the soaps are among the most popular ever produced by Ekta Kapoor.
Marvel Studios’ film Avengers: Infinity War (2019) showed an epic amalgamation of superheroes from films like ‘Iron Man’, ‘Black Panther’, ‘Captain America’, ‘Spiderman’, ‘Doctor Strange’, ‘Thor’ and ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’.
