Meet Pallav Singh, The Actor Who Played Shayar Raheem's Role In Mirzapur 3

Mirzapur has always been a hot topic in the town. The third season of the show was released on Amazon Prime on June 5. Compared to its previous instalments, the third season has garnered more negative reviews from the critics and the audience. After a wait of four years, the series was not able to meet the expectations of the viewers. The series stars Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi, Anjum Sharma and Vijay Varma in the lead roles. Apart from the lead characters like Kaleen Bhaiya, Munnaa Bhaiya and Guddu Pandit, some roles garner headlines from their brief stint in this crime thriller show. In season one, Abhishek Banerjee and Bramha Mishra’s character as Compounder and Lalit respectively garnered praise from the critics. Whereas, in season two, Aasif Khan’s role as Babar Khan was praised by the audience. Similarly, the third season of Mirzapur gave birth to the character of Shayar Raheem.

Shayari’s are often considered as a poem of harmony, love and other things. However, Mirzapur makers never believe in following the traditional form of any art. The use of abusive words with a smiling face while speaking shayari at the centre of the stage has been beautifully portrayed by the actor Pallav Singh in Mirzapur. The performance of the actor was widely appreciated by the critics and the audience. Previous to his breakthrough role in Mirzapur, the actor has worked in the web series Taj: Divided By Blood. He played the role of Vivaan in the OTT series. It is directed by Ron Scalpello and Vibhu Puri. He debuted with the web series Mai in 2022. It was created by Atul Mongia and directed by Anshai Lal and Atul Mongia.

He graduated from the Manipal Institute Of Technology in 2016. He was always interested in acting and so he indulged himself in the world of acting through street plays and other projects. He pursued his love for acting at the National School Of Drama in the same year. He was featured in commercial advertisements and several Hindi & English theatre plays.
