Mithun Chakraborty Leaves For A Much-Needed Holiday With Family

Weeks after recovering from a brain stroke, veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty now seems in good health and spirits, jetting off for a vacation with family. The actor is accompanied by his son Mimoh Chakraborty and daughter-in-law, Madalsa Sharma, as the trio heads for a quick break. The Anupamaa star shared a picture on Instagram, showing her posing with her husband, Mimoh, and father-in-law. Captured during their flight, the photo clearly shows the veteran actor recovering and returning to his routine lifestyle.

She added a ‘flight’ emoji in the caption with the hashtags familia and love. While details about her trip destination are not clear, the actress’s Instagram story suggests that the family is vacationing amid snow-clad mountains.

Mithun Chakraborty on the sets of Shastri

Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar recently also shared a video featuring Mithun Chakraborty from the sets of the film ‘Shastri’. Penning a heartfelt note, the director wrote, “I met mithun chakraborty in Kolkata and was thrilled to see him back on set, in great health. My bond with Mithunda dates back to my teen years when I used to deliver video cassettes. He has always been a source of courage and inspiration.”

The video shows Bhandarkar talking about his admiration for the veteran actor, followed by Chakraborty himself praising the filmmaker. He also shared a couple of pictures.

Mithun Chakraborty suffers a brain stroke

Earlier in February, Mithun Chakraborty was rushed to the Apollo Hospitals in Kolkata after complaining of uneasiness and chest pain. Later, the hospital, in an official statement, confirmed that the actor was diagnosed with an ischemic cerebral accident (stroke) of the brain.

He was evaluated by a team of doctors, including a neuro-physician, a cardiologist, and a gastroenterologist. A video from the hospital was also released showing Chakraborty in an improved health state, with doctors providing him with reassurance and care.

While dozens of worried fans took to social media and prayed for his well-being, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also called him up. The actor while walking out of the hospital spoke to the media and shared the details. “There is actually no problem, I am absolutely fine. I have to keep control of my food habits. Let’s see. I may start working soon or maybe tomorrow,” he said.
