Koi… Mil Gaya

Koi..Mil Gaya, starring Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta in lead roles might be the very first Indian sci-fi film of every 90s-born kid. The story revolves around a mentally disabled youngster who unwittingly summons aliens and encounters one extra-terrestrial being. The film won all major awards upon its release, with the Best Actor award going to Hrithik.

Jodhaa Akbar

Helmed by Ashutosh Gowariker, Hrithik Roshan played the role of Mughal emperor Akbar while Aishwarya Rai Bachchan essayed the character of his on-screen wife Jodhaa in this royal love story. Gowariker said he picked Roshan because he had the “regal bearing and physique” to portray a king. He was delicate in certain parts, steely in others, and poised throughout the film. Jodhaa Akbar bagged several Filmfare and IIFA awards.

Amitabh Bachchan as the fierce and aggressive Vijay Deenanath Chauhan won a million hearts in the 1990 film Agneepath. Filling in the shoes of Big B was Hrithik Roshan in the film of the same title directed by Karan Malhotra. The film was a hit upon its release. While Priyanka Chopra played the female lead, Sanjay Dutt was the antagonist.

Fighter

Pathaan director Siddharth Anand is helming the next action flick Fighter, starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in the lead. Touted to be India’s first aerial actioner, the film’s teaser has already piqued the interest of the masses, thanks to the glimpses of the high-octane action sequences. Fighter also stars Anil Kapoor and Karan Singh Grover in crucial roles. The action-entertainer is set to premiere in the theatres on January 24.

War 2

Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer War impressed the audience upon its release in 2019. Now, director Ayan Mukerji will be coming up with the film’s sequel, titled War 2. Hrithik will once again reprise his role of Major Kabir, with RRR fame Jr NTR also being roped in for an important part. Kiara Advani has been selected as the female lead. War 2 is expected to hit the silver screens on August 14, 2025.

Krrish 4

Not much is known about Krrish 4, the fourth installment in the much-loved superhero franchise. Helmed by debutant director Karan Malhotra, the script of the actioner is written by Rakesh Roshan. Still, in the initial stages, the release date of Krrish 4 is yet to be announced.
