In a momentous occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the stretch of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway leading up to Gujarat.

This monumental infrastructure development connects the heart of the nation, New Delhi, to Vadodara in Gujarat. The unveiling of this crucial section promises to revolutionize interstate connectivity and drastically slash travel time between these major cities, reducing it to a mere 10 hours.

Before this grand inauguration, two significant segments of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway had already been opened to the public. A 244 km stretch in Madhya Pradesh and a 202 km stretch from Sohna to Dausa marked earlier milestones in the project. The remaining sections of this expressway are projected to be completed by 2024, offering a comprehensive and efficient transportation corridor.

Spanning a staggering 1,386 kilometers, the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway weaves through multiple states, including Rajasthan (373 km) and Madhya Pradesh (244 km), as well as Haryana (79 km).
