'Don't Send Your Beggars And Pickpockets': Saudi Arabia Warns Pak to Be Careful with Haj Quota, Say Sources
Saudi Arabia is upset that these miscreants from Pakistan go on Umrah visas and not Arab visas, said Saudi sources. The reason for this is that they don’t get invites or employment letters because the Arabs don’t trust them as skilled labour and prefer Indian and Bangladeshi workers, they added

In a meeting of their overseas ministry officials, Saudi Arabia has told Pakistan to be careful with the selection of its Haj quota candidates, sources told CNN-News18 on Wednesday.

Out of the beggars arrested, 90 per cent are from Pakistan, who are on Umrah visas, Saudi Arabia has said, added the sources.

According to them, Pakistan’s overseas secretary was chastised for “sending repeat offenders”.

“Our prisons are full of your prisoners,” Saudi Arabia is believed to have said.

Pakistani officials were reportedly also told that all the pickpockets near the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca are also from their country.

According to the sources, the Saudis are upset that these miscreants from Pakistan go on Umrah visas and not Arab visas. They say the reason for this is that they don’t get invites or employment letters because the Arabs don’t trust them as skilled labour. For that, they depend more on Indian and Bangladeshi workers.
