New Delhi: Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday met top bureaucrats of all Naxal-affected states and has taken a tough stand against the Naxals after the meeting. Rajnath Singh said that the government won't talk with the Naxals, but a balanced approach will be adopted.
He also said that the security forces will retaliate if the Naxals attack. Rajnath added that the Centre will provide incentives to the forces fighting Naxalism
The Odisha DGP had asked for more Centre-State co-ordination and choppers to deal with the Naxal threat during the meeting. All 10 Naxal-affected states including Telangana attended the meet.
