PM trying to cover up scams, says BJP

New Delhi: BJP President Nitin Gadkari on Wednesday attacked Prime Minister Manmohan Singh over his responses at the roundtable conference with editors of television news channels

Stating that the Prime Minister has shown his inability to control corruption, Gadkari said that Manmohan Singh is trying to 'cover up' the scams.

Gadkari also said that it was disheartening to see that the Prime Minister blamed the Opposition for disrupting the Parliament over the demand for a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC).

Gadkari also questioned the Prime Minister's comment that 'he has no issues with the JPC. Gadkari said, "Why did they waste the whole session if they were ready for the JPC?"

Gadkari also flayed the Prime Minister for comparing 2G spectrum and other things to subsidy.
