Post-poll survey: BJP leaps over Congress in vote share, ahead by 10 per cent
The BJP allies are likely to get 6.5 per cent vote share and the Congress allies are likely to get 3.5 per cent vote share across India.

New Delhi: The vote share gap between the Congress and the BJP is more than 10 per cent, says revised data of the CNN-IBN-CSDS-Lokniti post-poll survey. The BJP is expected to get 33.5 per cent vote share and the Congress is expected to get 22.5 per cent. Post Poll Survey including all 9 phases was conducted in 304 Lok Sabha seats and the sample size is 22,191.

The BJP allies are likely to get 6.5 per cent vote share and the Congress allies are likely to get 3.5 per cent vote share across India. It will take NDA's vote share to 40 per cent and the Congress vote share to 29 per cent across India. However, the consolidated vote percentage for the UPA is 26 per cent. All others together may get 34 per cent vote share.

Others are expected to get 19 per cent vote share and the BSP 4.5 per cent, Left 4 per cent, SP 3.5 per cent and AAP expected to get 3 per cent respectively.

Revised figures for Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal

Uttar Pradesh

The revised figures for the BJP-Apna Dal alliance in Uttar Pradesh is 39 per cent. The ruling Samajwadi Party may get 25 per cent vote share and the BSP may get 22 per cent vote share. The Congress-RLD alliance is expected to do very badly by getting 10 per cent and the others may get 4 per cent.

The post-poll survey was conducted in 38 Lok Sabha seats across UP and the sample size is 2586 respondents.

Bihar

According to the final post-poll survey including all 9 phases, the BJP+LJP alliance may get 43 per cent votes and the Congress-RJD-NCP combine may get 30 per cent vote share. The ruling JDU is projected to get just 15 per cent vote share and the others may get 12 per cent.

West Bengal

In West Bengal, the ruling Trinamool Congress led by Mamata Banerjee is in a comfortable position. It is expected to get 38 per cent vote share in a multi-cornered fight. The Left Front may get 24 per cent vote share and the BJP 15 per cent and Congress 13 per cent vote share respectively. Others may get 10 per cent votes.
