Huawei has unveiled a new smartphone called Enjoy 8e Youth. The smartphone has been launched with a price tag of RMB 799, which is approximately Rs 8,500 and features three colour options - Black, Blue, and Gold. The smartphone is currently up for pre-orders, and it will be going on sale from June 1. There is no word on whether Huawei plans to launch this Enjoy 8e Youth in other markets, including India. The newly introduced smartphone is the lowest configuration phone among the other Enjoy 8 series like Enjoy 8, Enjoy 8 Plus and Enjoy 8e that were launched in March this year.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Huawei Enjoy 8e Youth runs EMUI 8.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo and features a 5.45-inch HD+ (720x1440 pixels) LCD panel with 295ppi of pixel density and an 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is a MediaTek MT6739 quad-core SoC paired with 2GB of RAM. There is also 32GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card. The smartphone packs a 3020mAh battery and measures 146.5x7.09x8.3mm.

In terms of optics, the smartphone has a 13-megapixel camera sensor on the back that has an autofocus lens along with PDAF and a dual-tone LED flash. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel camera sensor along with the soft-light LED flash. It also features a beauty mode for snapping enhanced selfies. Other features of the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, microUSB 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack and GPS.
